I hope someone can help with this problem.
I have a split database, the back-end resides on a network server and the front end on my pc (win 2000).
I have linked the tables from the back-end to the front-end using the recommended UNC path. However, I cannot open any of the tables in datasheet view. I can create queries, reports etc., on the linked tables except opening.
If however, I hard-code the path of the linked tables, I have no problem opening the tables.
By the way, both the back-end and front-end are Access 2000 databases.
If anyone has a solution to this, I would be very grateful if you could reply to this post
