My db has many linked tables to our AS400 system via ODBC version 8, 32-bit. I also have file, system and user DSNs set-up (and maybe I don't need all of them) against the multiple AS400s we have.
As of the past few weeks, I'm having AS400 password problems when trying to link to a new table or even when checking an existing table. When I run the existing query, somehow(?) a password is being passed to the AS400, but it's either an old one or it's passing a blank. Either way, it keeps disabling my UserID and our Help Desk is continually resetting my password. Also, I have never set up my passwords to be passed automatically. I always type them in manually.
Thanks.
