Question...I as told that it is preferable to create tables from queries and then create reports off the tables versus reports of queries. My question is, if the queries are updated based on the linked table update, will the tables I create off those queries also be updated? Is there special code I need to use to make sure that happens?

linked table updates

if you create a Make-Table Query from data which is already updated. then the table which will be made will have the updated information in it. Since all the query does is extract the information from the table according to what you want to view. hope this answers your question
