I am having a problem with a linked table (Oracle 73.ver2.5) and Access 2002. All other linked tables are coming across great except for 1 table – and the only difference I can see is that there is a memo field. When I look at this table in Access – all fields show as #Name?. When I do a query on this table and exclude the memo field – data appears correctly. By the way – this table comes across great in Access 97. Can someone please give me an idea what’s going on? This problem is holding up a “rush” project. Thanks.

I don't have an answer, but maybe a couple of things to try. One make the table a View and put the memo field last. Two, if you can, make a View and cast the memo to a smaller varchar type field.

I have found the Microsoft ODBC driver for Oracle often works better than the Oracle driver.
