I am deploying a Microsoft Access 2000 application with an Access2000 Runtime using Install Shield. My application has a custom tool bar that has on it the Linked Table Manager.
The data1.msi package that Microsoft provides InstallShield to use to set up the Runtime does not include the Linked Table Manager wizard.
Through some research I have determined that I own the main file I need for the LInked Table Manager wizard- Acwztool.mde- and know what folder to deploy it in.
InstallShield tech support has explained how to include this in my Access2000 Runtime install but they raised the question as to whether there are other dependent files that need to go with it and whether there are any registry changes that need to be implemented when I deploy this to allow the Runtime to use the wizard properly.
If anyone has any experience in doing this and can share with me the answers to the last two questions I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
