I want to use a query which links two different datasources together. What is the best way to do this? I thought it should be posible to use a linked query in a MS Access database, but I am having problems when running the asp page. But design time works fine when viewing the "view" in visual interdev's query viewer. HELP!!!!!

It probably has something to do with permissions. When running the web, it is
1. the web server that is accessing the databases and,
2. ii is logged in as the anonymous user

So the DSN must be created on the web server, as a server DSN, not a User DSN.

And the access databases must have read/write visibility for the anonymous user.

If this is achieved - so that you can get data from each database onto the web, then I guess that your problem is in the way that one database links thru to the other for a combined query (I presume that one access database has links to the other, and in this databse you have created a query that combines both databases).

PS. what errors do you recieve anyway? (Content Management)
