Linked Server from SQL7 to SQL2000

Hi all,

I am trying to create a linked server on a SQL7 server to look at data on SQL200 database. First of all, can anyone please tell me if this is possible. If it is, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried a number of times with different security options, but I keep getting the error ( loging fasiled for user '(null)'. Reason : Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

Try putting the 2000 server into mixed security and connecting using sa.

DTS can be used in a similar way.
