Hi,

I am trying to create a database that prints linked PDFs. When I include them in a report, all I get is a shortcut icon. Where am I going wrong?

Best regards,

Henry

Hi,
more detail about what you are trying to do would be helpful. If you wish to open the linked documents are you using the hyperlink function

Hi Chassell,

Sales people in my department put together packets of documents for prospective clients. Currently, this is a manual pick-and-pack process using preprinted materials. I want them to be able to select documents from a check-list and then print a desired quantity in a specific order. It very well may be that a report is not the best approach but that's what seems logical to me. I was able to generate the report but the PDFs won't print.

Access 2000.

Thanks for any ideas,

Henry

Hi HenryAnthony,

I have a solution for you that Bill Powers posted in this forum about 1 year ago. If you email me I'll send you a small database which you can import into your own. That way you can decide for yourself

Chasell,

I have been on vacation so sorry for the long time to reply. I would love to get the database you mention but do not know how to find your email address. It must be staring me in the face somewhere. Please tell me how to email you.

HenryAnthony,

Same thing here only returned from vacation today from 18th July. You can email me at Charles.Sellar@glacomen.scot.nhs.uk

Let me know if you have managed to find a solution yourself.
