Linked Oracle View Performance

Hi all,

I have a question about the performance of some of the linked Oracle views in an Access database.

When the views are run through an Oracle database front-end client, the time it takes to load is fairly fast. However when using an Access database which is linked to the same view, the time it takes to load is extremely slow and sluggish. Now assuming I cannot optimize the efficiency of the view itself, what other alternatives are there to speeding up the linked view in Access?

Has access created a pseudo primary key on the linked view ?

Nope, instead I assigned several fields to act as the unique identifier for each row.
