i have a access 2000 database that is linked to tables in sql 7 and i can't add new records or edit data using access. i'm fairly sure it's a security problem but i can't figure out what i need.

i finally figured out what i was doing wrong. when i was linking access to the sql table i needed to select a unique identifier.

Thanks for posting the solution!
