Hi
I have an access 97 database that contains several linked worksheets from the same Excel file. Just recently we have noticed an unusual bug that i cannot figure out.
If the linked table is opened in access the headers are completely wrong - the link was set-up correctly with "top row as headers" selected - but for some reason completely random details are taken from the worksheet and placed into the headers.
However, if I open up the excel file first & THEN open the linked tabel in access the headers are correct. This is coming to be a complete pain as all code i have written now has to open up the workbook first & then run code.
I have tried removing the tables & re-linking them but still get the same problem. Has anyone encountered this before & is there a solution??!
Thanks
