Hiya all. I need help in getting rid of an alert box that pops up withing excel when a document is opened. Here's what I have.

I used to have Book1all by itself. In Book2 I had a page that I needed to merge with Book1 I merged it and now everytime I open Book1 a window pop up stating the following:

"The workbook you opened contains automatic links to information in another workbook. Do you want to update this workbook with changes made the the other workbook??"

1. To update all linked information, click Yes.
2. To keep the existing information, click no.

Meanwhile, I've asked all users to click No and continue working with the workbook.

I need to disable this pop-up window. Thanks

Ummm, you could try
Code:
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Not sure if this will solve your problem. Just place it in the WorkBook.Open procedure and see.

That did not work logius. Thanks for your input tho
