link to open word/excel files

Hi,

When sending mail I use the hotspot function to enable others to click on link to specif path,folder.

Is it possible to insert the same function in a database. I figured out how to insert a link that displays the icon, but I would prefer a line of text e.g. click here rather than displaying an icon, many thanks.

Do you have the Notes Designer and do you have design access to the database in question ?
If the answer to these questions is yes, then all you need to do is copy/paste your hotspot to the form you need to work with, or insert the hotspot code into an action in a view or a form.
