Link to folder

I'm trying to create a link or document list where it links to a folder or document in the folder rather than uploading the document into sharepoint.

Meaning if the document changes in the location the links ares still good and it doens;t need to be uploaded again or checked out?

Hello,

You mean that you want this link to point to something outside of SharePoint? If that is the case you can use the pageviewer webpart that comes with SharePoint. This webpart allows you to show contents from in a folder on for example a fileserver. You can ofcourse also use this to show contents of Document Libraries etc in sharepoint.

Might be other ways of doing what you want, but it might need somde programming/devlopment.
