Link to Active Directory?

I there a way to link to active directory? Or is there a way to write a query that gets info for ad?

We have just implemented AD and I already have a dozen dbs that reference a Employee Table. AD could replace this Employee Table. But I don't want to go through a bunch of work updating the dbs. If I could create a query (with the same name as I currently have) that accesses AD rather then the employee table, that would be great.

Yeah, I saw that post and already downloaded the file earlier today. Didn't see what I was looking for. But I'll look thru it some more. Thanks for responding.
