Link Tables Using UNC

Hi, at the moment I use the DoCmd.TransferDatabase etc... to link tables to my database frontend when it is opened. Anyway if i had a backend on a web server whilst the front end was on a users PC could i use a UNC path along with the DoCmd.TransferDatabase.... command to link to the backend tables instead of an absolute path? If so can you show me how I would use it? Cheers in advance
