link stock items (supplementary stock items for purcahsing)

Hi, is there a way of having supplementary stock items for purchasing in Accpac 6?
For example, when purchasing item A, the user gets a prompt that he should also consider purchasing item B as they belong together.
Something like kitting items but for purchasing.

Can that be done?

Only through customization. Point of Sale software might be able to do that natively but Accpac OE doesn't.

So would I have to create a macro, place the OCX on the form and try catching the event when an item number is entered onto the screen?
Is there an event like this?
