I placed two images from the desktop into a document but now I can't open the document past the "Checking Links" dialog box. At that point, the computer freezes and has to be restarted. I'm afraid that I moved the two images after closing the document and now the document is locking up because it can't find the images. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions as to how I can get into the document to correct things (and how I should correct the problem once I get into it). Thanks in advance, gln
