Does anyone know how to link a database file with a quark document? I am using Quark 5.0.

Usually you would need a third party XTension to take care of this. It's possible to use XML (look up the Avenue.Quark documentation for details), but it's a bit tricky. Also, the documentation is a little inaccurate in places.
