Link Crystal 8.5 reports to a VFP 6.0 cursor?

Is there a way to link a crystal 8.5 report to a cursor in VFP 6.0. We are trying to find a way to allow a compiled Crystal report to use data sources located in different directories, but with the same name. One possible solution is to use a cursor instead.
