Link closes popup and accesses correct page in parent window

Newbie here.

I'm rebuilding my personal website with design portfolio. I will have design thumbnails which will open a popup when clicked to scroll though images. Occasionally I would like to have a link in the popup. Something like, "To see more from this client, click here." Ideally, the link, when clicked, would close the popup and navigate to the appropriate page in the parent window. I'm at a loss as to how this is accomplished.

I don't think that is possible. You may want to consider opening your images in a "Light Box", which is basically a sup-ed up AP Div. once the window is open it loses all reference to the other browser session.
