Can you link an Avaya IP office to a norstar MICS via T1/PRI so the IPO can use the MICS's existing T1 for inbound & outbound calls? If so what programming needs to be done on the MICS side? Also the MICS is out of state so it would have to be done remotely. Thanks.

You could use a Norstar VoIP Gateway to get the two systems talking to each other if there is a network set up between the sites. You would then have to assign a remote filter package on the PRI so the IPO could access it.

Norstar side programming ( off the top of the head so may need to do more )

1- Connect the Norstar gateway to available analog trunk ports
2- Assign the new voip gateway trunks to a pool and give it a dest. code
3- Program target lines for every ext. to match ( ie. x 1234 gets target 157 recvd # 1234 )
4- Give the Norstar's PRI/T1 a remote filter package

You would definitely need a Norstar tech on site to help you out with getting this set up, your not going to be able to do all this remotely.
