Can I view an Access 2003 table from an Access 97 database? I cannot link the table directly.

Hi

In Access2003 you could save the table in A97 format, then link to it, but like most software Access is backwards compatible (ie A2003 will read A97), but not forwards compatible for obvious reasons

What about using ODBC? Shouldn't I be able to get the latest MDAC from Microsoft and set up an ODBC datasource for the Access 2003 database? I know I cannot just link directly.

Also, do you know if Access 2003 is more stable than Access 97 and less prone to becoming corrupt?
