I imported a swf file onto my index page and created a button to link to my homepage. I converted it to a button and the instance properites says track as button but the on mouse event is grayed out and nothing seems to be working. if someone can walk me through it step by step I would appreciate it SOOOOO much.

Right-click the button on stage, and select Actions from the popup menu. This will open the Object Actions box where the on event won't be grayed out, and where you should be adding your getURL action.
