I need to find out if there is a way to configure (2) 2611 routers between 2 PBX systems. Here's the catch. There are no Serial interfaces only Ethernet ports to work with. I have configured many routers using Serial Interfaces but never over Ethernet Interface.

The hardware is:
2 Avaya Legend PBXs with DS1 boards
2 Cisco 2611 routers with MFT-T1 VWICs and 12.2.13T software.
2 DLink Wireless bridges 10.10.1.0 and 10.10.2.0

The application is:
PBX A connects to Router A's MFT-T1
Router A connects to Wireless Ethernet Bridge(W.E.B.) A
W.E.B. A transmits to W.E.B. B
Router B connects to Wireless Ethernet Bridge(W.E.B.) B
PBX B connects to Router B's MFT-T1

I need to be able to 4 digit dial between systems. A Serial interface is not an option as the W.E.Bs do not support T-1, there is no way to run a physical cable and a short haul, clear channel T-1 is over priced in this area.

I can build the dial peers but I am not sure how to "connect" them to Ethernet ports (if possible) and assign the dial peers to the Ethernet interface.

I have read about setting up a dialer, a VPDN, a Bridged connection, multilink (which seems to be serial only), and a VPN but am not sure of the best method, again if it is possible. I have been looking at this for 4 days now and am stuck. Has anyone ever come across this or know how to do it?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
