Hello All,
Does anyone know the system integration command for a Lingo 2 when it is connected to an IP LDK 100?
I have fitted quite a few of these onto GDKs in the past but have a site which needs a voicemail system that doesnt cause them the well known 'link list' issue common with VMIB's.
Following a complaint i have suggested using an external VM system, but upon trying a refurbished Lingo 2 it doesnt seem to work properly.
I was under the impression that the switch outputs/voicemail commands were exactly the same as the GDK but this seems to not be the case.

Can anyone shed any light on this please? Is it the Lingo integration string i've got wrong or do i need to alter the LDK voicemail dialling tables?

Many thanks.

Hi,
I'm really sorry but I can't help with your question.
I was very intrigued by your mention of "link list issue ". I install and support VMIBs a lot. What's the link list problem?
Regards
Mark
P.S. I hope someone with Ldk/lingo 2 experience replies. I would be inclined to say the integration commands would be the same between GDK & LDK. But I have never done it myself.

hello jonah,
i have found the answer to the lingo 2 issue, it was the pauses in the LDK dialling table- they needed to be removed. i discovered this by using a digit analyzer. the dialling tables for voicemail are exactly the same for gdk+ldk, the only difference is the pause length, once removed all works well.
the link list issue common on ldk's is a different matter alltogether. the vmib/vmibe is purely a storage board but the 'what belongs where' bit is handled by the mpb.
for some reason the pigeon holing or link list over time becomes corrupted causing error messages saying vmib not installed/voicemail messages being played instead of personal greetings/callers being unable to leave a message and being routed to ring assignment instead etc.
hope this answers your question, let me know if you need more detail

Hi,
Glad you got sorted. We've hitched up quite a few pana tvp100 vm units to gdks and they work quite well.

Understood about the link list issue. Not something I have had problems with so far. You watch I will get to work today and a customer will phone up with it as an issue! What's the cure for it?
Regards
Mark
