I have about 14 lines coming off of my PBX (Opt. 81C) programmed as 500 sets and then at the Norstar end they are wired in to the key system. How are they getting a beeping in the handsets that they have a voicemail? Can I get the MWI to work on the 7410's? from the Meridian Mail here?

Wow, you have a lot of work to do to get that to work. You have to have MCDN on Norstar, which requires some keycodes and at least MICS 5.0 I believe. I have heard horror stories on this subject. Maybe someone else has heard better results.

The beeping is probably comming from the message waiting on the analog lines. As far as hooking to the Mer mail you do need the MCDN and also a PRI circuit between the 2 systems. All the information is passed on the D-channel for message waiting lights ect... I also belive that the Mer mail has to have NMS (network messaging services) software on it. Good luck
