Lines not showing on hold??

I have a BCM 3.6. I have target line 241, which is the main line, appearing and ringing on 5 sets. If set A answers the call and puts it on hold, the other 4 sets cannot see the call. Any ideas?

That is the way it works. Remember that you are not dealing with a literal line, you are dealing with a virtual line.

Then it would ned to be transfered or parked to have another phone pick it up or program SWCA on all the phones .

As cook 1082 says program swca. It stands for system wide call appearence and works great in situations where end users are used to seeing physical lines.

Can you control the number of calls that ring a target line? We have a water department that can only handle three lines at a time and still mangae the front desk.
Our vendor says that the BCM cannot control the min/max like a Mitel.

Yes and you just press the button and it is on hold at every set you program with SWCA. F *521/522/523/524 for how many SWCA lines you want to put on the phones.

Good, we do not want 23 lines ringing in to a 3 empoyee department. Our vendor said the number of calls can not be controlled.
You are saying that if the feature is used only that number of calls will ring in and the next person will get busy tone?
