lines not disconnecting

Hello,

I have a site that has a Merlin Magix- every 3 weeks or so, the lines get hung, that is- they do not disconnect. The only way to clear them is to unplug them one by one from the phone system and then plug them back in. I do have reliable disc set to yes, these are loopstart lines from Verizon in NYC. This seems to be an ongoing issue. Thanks for any help!
 
It sounds like you ARE NOT GETTING RELIABLE DISCONNECT from the CO.

Try setting RELIABLE DISC to NO and see what happens.

Otherwise, you will have to twist some arms to get your DIAL TONE VENDOR to give you reliable disc.

I would imagine that they have not set an option that they should have.
