Our office has 1 main line that we recieve all of our calls on and we have a line pool that is used for outgoing calls. How do I set up our CICS system so that when we answer a call on the incoming line it automatically unloads it to the line pool so that our main line can be freed up to accept more incoming calls.

Thanks for the help,
Anthony

you need to have your telco make your numbers hunt, by hunt a telco means that when the main line is busy then the call does something similar to a forward to the next line in the huntgroup. the telco can assign your existing numbers as a hunt group and you can have the CICS assign the same telco lines as a line pool for outgoing calls. you should have the telco assign the numbers in the sequence that they appear on your CICS ie Main Number, then line 002, 003, 004, 031 etc.
