Line Tool "No-Worky" 2

My line tool is now some kind of weird arrow. I have no clue on how to fix this so I can draw a REAL line, and I don't know it happened in the first place. So... without giving anyone here a clue - can you please help me fix my line tool? (I feel so dumb, but I am just a hobbyist, so it is okay, right? - That's what I will keep telling myself.)

Two things:

Check the Line shape is selected in the Tool Options at the top:

And also in this drop down box in the options bar make sure that neither of the Arrow Head boxes are checked:

Excellent! Great advice. I have a new problem though. The line is massively thick! Hehehe... The weight is set to 0.5cm, but I might as well be drawing a rectangle. Any suggestions?

If you are working at a very high resolution (say 600ppi) the line will appear very thick on screen but it will print at 0.5cm thick. Maybe you wanna try setting the width of the line in Pixels (px) if it's for screen.
