Line Template on Cisco UCM - How to use?

Hello All,

I am new to Cisco Voice world and currently have received a request to setup templates on Cisco UCM for Phones. I have created a template under Bulk Administration -> Phones -> Phone Template for Cisco 7945 model with the settings I need. Once the setting was saved, I modified the configuration of Line [1] and configured the base parameters like forwarding no answer for internal, external, etc that I want to use as the base configuration for the users.

Now, when I am creating a Phone using the BAT Phone template under Device -> Phone -> Add New, it is importing all the configurations from the Phone Template for Cisco 7945 I created, however when I look under the Line [1], all the fields have been blanked out. I am not able to figure out how to retrieve the configuration of the line within the user.

BAT is for bulk importing. If you are adding just a single phone it does not touch the BAT tool. And there is not a line template. Only phone and softkey. So either you will have to import the phone through the BAT tool or just setup each line itself. If you are doing a lot of phones then use the BAT tool. If not, its probably easier to just do it on a per phone basis.
