Hi Gang,

I have Photoshop Elements 2 on my machine and am designing a CD back cover - however, text is driving me mad...

I want to put the track listing on the document, but whenever I hit shft+entr to go onto a new line, the gap between lines is massive - at least five times the size of the actuall document itself - and the gap is the same size if the font is 6pt or 250pt.

Any ideas what's going on? It used to work fine...

Thanks

I have never used elements but in all other versions you should be able to adjust the leading which is shown in the character pallete.

Thanks for the reply - that was the first thing I thought of, but Elements doesn't appear to have leading settings.

Any more ideas anyone?

Are you sure? We had some copies of PS LE (predecessor to elements) and it had it. Make sure to open the Character window and look to the right of the font size.

Also try the paragraph window and, from flyout, See whether "every line composer" or "single line composer" is checked. Try the on, usually every line, and see if that helps.
