line ringing

My customer has a mics with pri service . they also have did lines to all rooms with separate incoming numbers. When a person calls out and is talking and an incoming call comes in the phone rings while the person is talking. Can this be stopped so the phone shows busy to the incoming call.

If your Norstar has the DND on busy feature, then make sure it is enabled as it should stop the ringing.

You can also set Forward Busy to voice mail system or reduce amount of Intercom buttons to one.
