-I need to set up 2 companies hybrid mode w/ 2 line pools.
-Both companies need access to both pools for incomming calls being manually transfered or thru AA.
-They need to access both pools for outbound but have priority line access to their own pool first.
"Question" does ne1 have any info
Thanks

you can do this with magix, not sure if the latest release of legend can.
you are looking at using partitioning.

I assume that you do not want to assign ars dial out code for eachof the 2 pools, so you'll have to use the ARS table, with different routing. Group 1 uses Pool A first, group 2 uses Pool B first. Set up ARS to look someting like this:

Route 1 Pool A FRL 4
Route 2 Pool B FRL 3
Route 3 Pool A FRL 3

Give Group A phones an ARS restriction of 4
Leave group B phones the way they are. In this scheme, group A phones with a higher FRL go out Route 1 first then, if the lines are in use, Route 2. Group B can't use route 1, so they get Route 2 first, then Route 3.

- Do both companies dial 9?
- What do the line pool buttons represent?

-Is pool A (pool 70) and pool B (Pool 890)

-can i use pool 70 for lines 801-804 (company A)and pool 890 for lines 805-808 (company B)?

Where about is ars tables and routing?
thanks in advance

Both companies dial 9, no need for pool buttons, if you have them there is no way to "automatically" select which pool, pool A can be 70 pool B can be 890, yes to next Q as well. Tables, ARS, and then a lot of menu selections under the ARS tables. BEFORE you start, print out the ARS table and look at it. This will give you some sort of idea what is happening, and will make sense of the menu selections. The table is always read top to bottom, so that is an outbound call is make and the table checked, it takes the first entry where there is a match. Try it with one phone, and massage your table and extension restrictions, until you get the desired results. Use a display phone when you test and you can see which lines you're using.

I did
-Sub A pool > Table 01 Route 1 to pool Code 70
-Sub A pool > Table 01 Route 2 to pool code 890
-Sub A pool > Table 01 Route 3 to pool code 70

-Sub A FRL Route 1 to 4
-Sub A FRL Route 2 to 3
-Sub A FRL Route 3 to 3

x 301 to ARS restriction 4

all calls going over pool 1

Please help

That looks right, as the table is read, the first listed route is pool 1 with an FRL of 4. Your extension has a 4 and it goes out this first route. If you extension had an ARS restrition of 3, it would go out the second route, 890.

If your test phone FRL is at 4, it will go out over pool 70, if the FRL is 3 it will go out over 890 UNLESS 890 has no lines available, in which case, it would go out over the next route, # 3, pool 70.

Maybe you can assist.
-I am Testing...

-I put (line 801 into pool 891) and (line 802 into pool 892)
-When i dial 9 + XXX +xxxx for a trunk i get a fast busy.

-When i have line 801 or 802 in pool 70 i can access the trunk(s)

ne1 know why?

What kind of phone system are you using, and do you have ten digit dialing where you are. If you are working on a legend and have 10 digit dialing they will always need to dial a one to get tables 1-16, if they don't it will always go out the Default local table 18. If you have the magix R2.0 or higher I don't see any problems with your config as long as your table is set up right, what kind of table is it configured for...(area code, 6 digit, exchange..)and do you have the data entered correctly? Just some questions to look at.

OK i think i figured it out.

Thanks Pepperz

It worked when input the data for last two tables (25 & 26)
They originaly had pool 70 assigned to them.

Havent had a chance to look at info on the table 25 or 26 entries.

Thanks for the ARS info
Much appreciated.

The only problem with this type of setup is your special services table 611,411 and international table 011. You can only assign one pool this each of these tables. Your only solution to this is to assign a pool access button. Hope this helps.

For these numbers create a separate table following the same scenario, just use the N11 entries in them. This way it never gets to the N11 tables.
