Hi,

On a CS1K Rls5.5, we have noticed that on an internal call between a digital set and an analog set, if the digital set hangs up, the analog set receive busy tone then it is silence then becomes lockout. This takes 18 seconds between then hang up and the lockout state.

We need to decrease this time since we have the same behavior on IVR ports (Nortel MPS connected to CS1K using LE1) and the IVR ports are released after 18 seconds.

We have tried DIDT, DIND, LDTT, BOTO in LD 15 Timers.
We tried CLS LDTA for the analog set.
Still no success.

Any ideas?

Thanks

what are you trying to do? unless the analog goes on hook, ivr port or fax machine.. your not going to use that channel regardless of the state of the timers. take away the ability to hook flash for all analog phones and you can push your times back.. but the point is, the analog device has to open that 600 ohm loop before you can close that same loop and request dial tone.

Hi Jhon,

When using an analog phone, you are correct. no need to so anything.

However, the IVR routine is disconnecting the call after 18 seconds when the LE1 port becomes lockout.

If we can decrease that time, the LE1 ports will become available before.
This is exactly what I need to do if possible.

Thanks

Try in LD 10- Configuration of analg. line for IVR.

Hi Again,

Sorry for my late reply - (i was out of the office the last couple of weeks).

Thanks guys for your replies.

In factm we already did the OSP and ISP settings of the LE1 ports and correctly configured the LE1 (Avaya support checked the configuration).

However, the problem is faced on a normal analog phone and is not related to LE1. If we decrease the 18 seconds (time to become lockout) for an analog unit, it will also be done to the LE1.

Thanks.

After Changing LD 15 Timers (LDTT, Boto etc..), perform SYS INIT.
