Line items on Invoice Missing

Hi, I have come across an issue and unable to fix this

We receive customer Orders through EDI and do Automated Invoice generation Processing and export the Invoices out

When we processed the batch out we presumed everything would go normal.

After a few days we realised that the Line items in the invoice went missing for this particular batch.

The AR _history_Invoice header has been updated but the detailed line items are missing in the AR_History_Invoice detail. and this has happened only to this specific batch.

What could be the reason and is there a way to recover this information.

The line item might have been invalid, that is it might not have been setup in Inventory.
