I have a SX200 ICP 4.0.2.10 and a 6000MAS 7.0.2.9 with 5224 sets with LIMs installed.
My challenge is to get the analogue line to work by pressing the Line Interface Module Key. This key does not show up as an option when programing the keys on the set. The docs say either mode 1. Line interface module mode or 2. fail over mode can access the analogue line.
Two questions:
1. how to change mode from fail over to line interface module mode?

2. program a line interface module key on the 5224 with the LIM installed.

If I have not provided enough info let me know, these are the first LIMs I have encountered.

The key that is programmed and the options can only be selected when the module is first installed and the set powered up.

To reprogram, you must first remove the module and power up the set with it removed.

Then re-install the module and follow the prompts when it powers up.

Caution: this may be fixed by now but if you choose anything but the default key for the appearance you may find that the key actually appears on one that is 1 removed from where you selected. If this happens, you must go thru the process to remove the module and program the key in the default position. After this you can do it again to select a different key and it will appear where you want.

Have fun.

thanks a lot, I was wondering if I would have to do that, the site is quite a distance away so not easily accessible to try things.

I have just completed the procedure mentioned. This did work and I was given the choice to pick a key for the analogue line. Strange thing is I picked key 24 and it works great but if you look at that key in programing it looks like it is default and is a speed call key.

Strange yes, surprising no.
