1. There are 2 analog lines coming into the PBX from AT&T and both are in a hunting group by AT&T. We have 3rd analog line which is from other service provider and is used for VOIP. We want to include this 3rd line in a hunting group with the other 2 lines. AT&T can not do it because its from other carrier. Is it possible within the PBX?

2. We want to bring in another analog line and assign this line directly to a voice-mail without creating any physical extention. How can we do it?

I will highly appreciate your help.

No - the hunting has to be setup by the phone company - unless you have a "forwarding on busy" option on your Telco lines - again through the phone company. If you do - you could frward the 2nd number to ring on your VOIP line (but - ONLY on busy). Some call forwarding options ONLY allow you to foward the number (always) - and not just forward "on busy" - so you need to call your Telco and see what call forwarding - if any - options you have - or can get ordered.

As far as the incoming hunting..you might be able to order forward busy/no answer on your second line, and point it to your third line. That is if AT&T has that service. The Legend can only control what come to it..not before hand, so there is no way to make the 2nd line hunt to the third line.

As far as question number 2:

Considering I do not know what you have in your system, I am assuming you have adjunct extensions with either an MLX or TDL card. So, as far as assigning it to a voicemail, assign the line to an adjunct extension using sysprg--start or exit--extension--lines/trunks--and assign the line to the extension. Next, assign the line as a principal user for that extension..that is under sysprg--start or exit--lines/trunks--more--principal user...select trunk..assign it to the adjunct extension. Assign the adjunct to group coverage..sysprg--start or exit--extensions--more--grp coverage--select the group used for vm coverage(usually 1 or 30) and assign the number. Lastly or first, you might want to renumber the adjunct to match you current dial plan...sysprg--start or exit--sys renumber--single--adjunct--select old adjunct number such as 7300--select new number to match your dial plan. Hope this helps....
