LINE FILTERS

Does anyone know a type of line filter that is used to filter noise/voltage from an individual CO line? I've seen them in the field but can't "name that part".

Look for RF or RFI filters on the net.
RF meaning Radio Frequency, they should help if not then you have a serious problem with the electrical company not doing wiring to codes or the TELCO has a problem (grounding?).
