It seems every time I make program changes to line buttons on MLX phones, either as features or SA Ring/Voice, the preference changes to SA Voice when you go off-hook! I have read the MLX user guide and looked in various manuals, but can't find any explanation of how to set or change this option. Am I overlooking something obvious? All my program changes were done thru SPM. This Legend has R6.0 software. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi ken07734,
Thanks for your quick response! I was just going to logout when I saw a post. I will try the *14/**14 code on Friday. Now this can only be done at the MLX phone? Or can it be done in programming? So at the phone I press *14 then the line buttons in sequence, SA Ring, SA Voice, SA Orig, then **14 and that should do it?

at the MLX phone where it should be done because centralized is a pain with this, dial feat 0 0 then hit a button and dial *14, enter the lines in the order you want and hit **14 then home.

WinSPM also allows you to set the line pickup order remotely.

Thanks for your help. I was able to put the lines back to their former state and the user is very happy now.

WinSPM will ot let you do this if you are trying to go to page 2 of greater than 10 button set. obce you go to the second page it forgets what you tried to set. and it's very confusing.

It looks like the DOS SPM 6.25 does something similar. That explains why I could not get it to make the change. I was going in circles!
