Line Button Assignment 1

Are line button assigned automatically to the 18d and 34d sets when the number of lines in service is programmed.

For example I am installing 14 lines in hunt. I enter 14 lines in service and they start on the bottom lower left button above the ICM buttons and move up.

Is there a way to select the exact buttons I want each one of these lines to appear on? For example starting the buttons at the top left lighted and then going down from left to right.

On the 34D I want to pleace the lines on top and the station DSS buttons under them.

I am only interested in doin this on ext-10 and 11.

Yes, you would go into programming and use line assignment (#301), enter the extension you want to program, then press remove. That will remove the standard line assignment. Then press the line you want to assign. At that point you have 3 options:

1 - Assigned (asigns line to next available button)
2 - Not Assigned
3 - Manually assigns the line to whatever button you press
Press 3 then touch the button where you want the line
