I have a large field that runs more than one printed page. When printing, how do I make FM break the text at the bottom of the first page margin and continue on the second page without literally tearing the top half of a line of text off?

When you are in layout mode - make sure the printer, page size and margins are set. You can see the dimensions of the page in layout mode - it will be a dotted line.

If you turn on the graphic ruler you can see the page magins as dotted lines. Go to the bottom of the page.

Now if you are setting the field on the layout to be bigger than one page what you need to do is look at the field setup in layou mode. there is a dotted line that represents the text base line.

Line up the dotted line of the field with the dotted line of the page margin.

That should stop the page breaks from cutting your text.
