I have setup a couple of line assingments for the main number and one for customer service. But those two numbers aren't officially assigned (not one person exclusively uses those extensions). The problem is voicemail. If no one picks up, it automatically assinged one of the user's phones as the voicemail phone. I want to redirect all voicemail for those lines assignments onto another specific phone using the line assingments, but I don't know how. Any insight? I hope I was clear enough for this.

Whats likely happening is all extensions are forward no answer to Voice Mail after the same number of rings -ex. 4 rings- change the extension whose mailbox you want to answer to 3 rings.

That sounds like what it is. The person that's receiving the voicemail has it picking up after 2 rings. How do you change the global settings for all voicemails. . . or at least change the one?

You would have to change this on a per set basis - so under the capabilities are change the fwding if you want 1 mailbox to pick up before the others just set the rings shorter than the others.

But under the capabilites options it doesn't have an option for ring length. I'm not sure if this is a restriction on my version (R1T1) or not. I know it's pretty old.

It is in the capablities . when you get to a set select forward no answer it will then ask for the DN to forward to . then hit next and it will ask how many rings till it forwards . That is where you select the amount of rings .
If you have Norstar manager you can go into the set and then set abilites and in there there is a tab for how many rings . Not sure how your doing the programing if it is through the set or VIA PC .

Nope, sorry. It doesn't give me that option. This is Norstar MICS vR1T1 with voicemail v2.20
