Hi, I remember using a program once that was able to take a scaned line art image and convert it into a .cdr image. Would anyone know the name of the program?

Corel Trace will do that within the Corel Graphics suite. I don't know which version of CorelDRAW graphics suite it first appeared in, but I have it in version 9. Basically, it traces the object and produces a vector graphic. I find it useful to edit the image first to almost a monochrome image with smooth lines. Then I bring it into Corel and trace it. Sometimes, it's easier to place the image on your document in coreldraw and trace it by hand. Hope this helps.
