Hi.

I have IPO Server Edition, and an Expansion unit for Lines, when trying to program Line Appearance on Buttons, always it's empty, How does it work?

Thanks

Line appearance are not supported between different IP Office servers within a network.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

@sizbut: is there any workaround to this issue, this is because the customer has CM, and the operator has buttons for line for international calls, when migrating to IPOSE, how do we accomplish this ????

Thanks

Don't Use Line appearances EVER!
their is absolutely no justifiable cause for their usage on an IP Office. if you find yourself trying it is because you are still thinking with a Key system mentality which is like Buying a high performance car & then only driving it on the Valet key.

In your case to enable the operator to choose the correct line for international calls simply ensure that line has a different outgoing call group id & then configure a short code for international dialing that selects it. the A in PABX stands for Automatic, there is no need for the user to make routing decisions that is the job of the PABX.

example*
ShorCode: 00N
Tel Number: .
Line group Id:2
(or whatever you have set your international trunks to)
Feature: Dial

Bring your customer into at least the 20th** century, they will thank you for it.

*based on UK dialling patterns, will require modification for USA & other regions.
**Yes I know we are now in the 21st that's how old this tech is!

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
