I have a customer that has 1416 phones. The trunking is a fractional PRI with 12 channels. The first
6 keys are line appearances for the first 6 channels of the PRI which 200 Main is the destination.
Keys 7 & 8 are regular appearance keys for internal calls. Prior to the 2 step upgrade from 7 to 9 to 11 incoming calls only alerted the line appearance keys on sets active in the Main Group. Now incoming calls alert on the line appearance and the appearance key on key 7.When the call is answered both keys are lit simultaneously. The customer insists that the keys stay as they are because they do not want to relearn how to use the phone. Does anyone know how to get it back to alerting ONLY the line appearance on incoming calls? It did not do this before the upgrade and I believe it has to do with the bin file for that model phone when it upgraded. Can anyone confirm this?
