Alright, this is really bothering me. When I make a curve by clicking and the holding in the button and a drag, just any curve, by default it finishes the curve with another one. I just want to do a line after a curve. I know this is possible, I just dont have any clue how to do it. In paint shop pro's vector tools 'CTRL F' makes it so it's "line after". I want to do this in this program, but I just dont know how. HELP ME!

Drag and drop the direction lines handle back onto the anchor point and it will disappear creating a straight line on one side of the anchor point.

well that doesnt seem to be what i want. i figured it out though. apparently if you hit ALT after you make the first curve, then click on the last node (or anchor point) it does a line after instead of the horrible 2nd curve.

Create your start point, bend your curve, then before making your next point, click once on your last point which was the end of your curve, now click where you want your line to go.

Cheers
