I have a Compact ICS with 2 lines answered by the AA and press 1 for 221 and 2 for 222

The lines appear on all 8 sets. Customer wants to be able to pick up Line 1 or Line 2 with it is ringing at 221. Is there a way to do this? The line is answered by AA and transferred to 221 but from the other phones say 225 or 226 the line 1 or 2 is not accessible. Is there away to access it? or just with Direct pick on 221 whre the line is ringing?

Thanks,

Not sure what you are trying to say.

To access lines then you need to assign them to the phone.
If you need you can tell AA to answer after any ring count you want under F983/AA/Lines

You can retreive ringing lines by using a pick up key.

F76 plus ext number for directed.
or
F75 for pickup group (put 221 and 222 in the same group)

I understand that both line 1 and line 2 are answered by the AA. I assume the AA it the one built into the Compact ICS. The caller then has the option to press 1 to be transferred to extension 221, or to press 2 to be transferred to extension 222.

I also understand that, when a call is transferred to extension 221 or to extension 222, the user wants to be able to pick it up at any other set.

If I understood correctly, there are many things you can do. Choose the one that would best fit the user needs:

A. Group Pick-Up. That would be pressing Feature 75. It works if the sets are close to one another. You would have to put all the sets in the same pick-up group. You could program a button for the Group Pick-Up feature. If more than one set in the group is ringing, the user might not end up picking up the call he is expecting.

B. Directed Pick-Up. That would be pressing Feature 76, and then dialing the extension number of the set that is ringing. Once again, it works if the sets are close to one another. You could program a button for the Directed Pick-Up feature, but the user would still have to dial an extension number.

C. Answer DN. That would be adding a button on the other sets to answer the calls that are ringing at extension 221. Another button would be added to answer the calls that are ringing at extension 222. You can program the button to flash only, or to flash and also ring the set. It works if there are buttons left on the phone. If possible, I would go with this solution.

D. CCR Group. That would be making all the sets ring when the caller presses 1 or 2.

I was trying to see if I could simply push the line 1 button on one of the phones that it appears on. But the system has it locked as it is transferring from Voicemail DN to the extension 221.
So i guess only way to answer the 221 ringing is with the Feature 76 or F75 group.
