Don't have a R7 ACS in key mode to test on; trying to maintain phone usage yet block inbound Caller ID at some phones in a medical facility...

If lines on a phone are set to "Out Only" (#302) and an inbound call is received and held by an unrestricted phone (front desk), can the "Out Only" resticted phone access the call by pressing the corresponding line button?
Could the call be transferred to the "Out Only" phone?
If yes for either, will the phone be able to see Caller ID?

Hi Ciszek,
I imagine the caller ID will be presented to any display phone where the call is active. You can transfer the call and if you assign automatic extension privacy, they can't barge in on the call.

I realize this is low-tech, but what about placing non-display sets at these locations? The non-display sets are usable for most applications.

From the ACS 7 manual: "Caller ID information does not appear for ringing calls on lines belonging to a pool programmed for Out Only or for No Access." - would it work to use pool mode here for your application? The front desk (x 10) can always be programmed for individual line access and see the Caller ID.
